For years i've been wondering just how far Matt Masters will ride this acoustic based, true-songs-of-the-west thing he's got going. The answer seems to be "all the way to the bank and back home again." After drawling his way across the province with his brilliant "100 gigs in Alberta's Centennial Year gimmick (yes, as a matter of fact I DO wish i had thought of that) the boy has carved out his name as a real country traditionalist. He's not actually getting rich, but guess wich one of us has a day job and which on doesn't?
